Port Townsend Historic District

Port Townsend is known as a “Victorian Seaport and Arts Community”, and nowhere is this more apparent than in Downtown Port Townsend. Here, you can explore numerous galleries and artists’ collectives, and perhaps even take a class or workshop. You’ll also find the Northwinds Arts Center, a History Museum, the Rose Theatre and the Uptown Theatre (both movie theaters), and Key City Public Theatre, the local playhouse.

It’s even home to R2AK, North America’s longest human-and-wind-powered race.
